About me

Mel Rayski-Mati grew up in the UK where she fell under the spell of metal and all its possibilities whilst working in Special Effects. It was the imagination of the film crews and their ability to create anything required, that left an indelible impression.

Nearly thirty years on and Mel is still enamoured of how a metal so strong, can be bent, rolled and forged into objects of such finesse and beauty. She creates beautiful delicate sculptures, often created from thousands of pieces.
